Introducing… Channel 3.

Channel 3 makes gaming (even more) fun, positive, and social for gamers of ALL SKILL LEVELS with community, content, and events.

I’ve spent an UNTHINKABLE amount of time thinking about the mission. Eventually it became apparent to me that none of the existing platforms allow me to do community, content, and events the way I want to.

Channel 3 is community, content, and events, enabled by a completely new social network for gamers.

Sound difficult? It’s already real. (Kind of.)

I’ve been coding nonstop since my last day at The Dad. NONSTOP. An alpha release MVP is now available for invite-only access.

When you’re making a big career move, look back and think, “All of my previous jobs led me to this.” (Maybe that’s rationalizing a risky decision.) The best career changes are just out of your comfort zone, and a combo of your specific skills and experiences such that you’re uniquely qualified to do that thing like nobody else.

For Channel 3 it’s gonna take: tech, design, data, analytics, business, content, social media, gaming. A weird combo.

My undergrad is in IT. My grad degree is in business. I led data science and analytics programs for over 10 years.

Then I had a 5 year bootcamp on what it takes to thrive on social media without losing your dang mind. I’ve seen the best and worst of humanity. And I’ve constantly thought, “This platform would be infinitely better if it just had this one feature…”

Most importantly, I saw what it takes to build a positive and inclusive gaming community that brings people together.

Building a new social platform in a crowded digital space is… ambitious. But I believe in the vision so much. We’re going to create an extra special nook on the internet unlike anything that exists.
